John 12:37-50 in this text the people still are wrestling with unbelief
and we see that was also prophesied. The word said that some of the
officials believed but loved the praise of man more than the praise of
God. Wow! This is a battle within its self, so often we care more about
what others will think, then what God thinks. So Christ again tells us
why He came into the world. He came that He would speak the word the
Father gave Him and it is eternal life. He did not come to judge the
world but the word He has spoken will judge the world. So for those of
us who believe that Jesus is the Christ, died on the cross for our sins,
raised from the dead and is seated at God's right hand, how does it
shape your life? Is this the foundation for your day? Today remember why
Jesus said He come and ask Him to empower you through the Holy Spirit
to follow Him. We must be sharing that same word of eternal life, He
gave us, for His glory not ours. God bless
